Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Aminu Dantata and Abdulsamad Rabiu, the founder of BUA Group, raised more than 1 billion naira on Saturday for flood victims in Jigawa.

The donations were made to Dutse while raising funds for the victims of the 2022 floods in the state.

The chairman of the committee, Bashir Dalhatu, (Wazirin Dutse) and former Minister of Energy, thanked individuals and business groups for their support for the victims.

Other donors included members of the State and National Assembly as well as council presidents.
