COSTA MESA, Calif. — Los Angeles Chargers wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams each told ESPN on Friday they expect to play in a Week 11 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I’m pretty sure, 100% sure,” Allen said when asked if he’ll be playing on Sunday. “I’m 100% sure…we’ll see what the coaches want to do.”

“I feel good,” Williams said when asked if he would play. “Yeah yeah yeah.”

The Chargers rated Allen and Williams as questionable; however, both were full participants in Friday’s practice.

The Chargers are 5-4 and on course to earn their first playoff spot since 2018 as they prepare for a rematch against the AFC West-leading Chiefs (7-2). The Chiefs beat the Chargers 27-24 in Week 2.

The Bolts are also expecting the return of right tackle Trey Pipkins III, who sat out last Sunday in a 22-16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers with a knee injury.

“To get adds, we had so many subs, getting the add is important for our team,” coach Brandon Staley said.

The Bolts have played the past two weeks without Allen or Williams.

10-year-old professional Allen strained his left hamstring in a Week 1 win over the Las Vegas Raiders and aggravated the injury on several occasions, including during practice at the see Bolts again in week 8.

Since the season opener, Allen has played just one game, playing on a snap count in the first half of a 37-23 Week 7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The Chargers’ top receiver since 2017, Allen has been limited to six catches for 77 yards this season.

“It sucked, frustrating,” Allen said of the missing time. “I’m just looking to bring back that energy and that ability to play.”

Williams suffered a sprained ankle in Week 7 but said on Friday he felt “200 per cent” in his recovery.

“Really, I’m doing everything I can to get back on the field,” said Williams, who has 37 receptions for a team-best 495 yards and three touchdowns.
