“Tweaks” and cosmetic treatments are one way to achieve a youthful look, but there are plenty of other options that don’t come with high prices. Aesthetic practitioner and skincare expert Amish Patel spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about the “cheapest” way to look younger – fast.
Amish told Express.co.uk that the “cheapest skincare hack” women can try is completely free.
He urged readers to “drink more water,” but how does that take years off your face?
“I tell all of my clients to maintain their H20 levels to help keep their skin hydrated and plump.”
Increasing your water intake will combat a sallow, dry, dull complexion.

For those who have undergone cosmetic treatments, water may be even more important.
Amish said: “If you’ve just had filler injections, drinking water is particularly relevant because hyaluronic acid fillers work by using the water stored in our tissues.
“The more water available, the better the treatment results and longevity.”
Official guidelines recommend that adults drink between six and eight glasses a day.
DO NOT MISS
“Using an exfoliator removes dead skin cells and allows your expensive skincare products to work better by allowing them to penetrate the dermal layer of the skin.”
This suggests that your expensive products will do their best good if your skin has been thoroughly exfoliated.
Amish continued, “It will also help give your skin a glorious glow.”
However, the expert added a caveat – don’t be too hard on your skin or you could do more harm than good.
He explained: “Exfoliating the skin can help get rid of dry, flaky skin and clogged pores, but be gentle in your approach.”
And like getting enough water, properly exfoliating the skin can be totally free.
Amish suggested, “If you’re looking for a quick, natural do-it-yourself exfoliating hack, oatmeal (moisturizer) can be mixed with a little water and a tablespoon of honey to create a paste that you can then apply to damp skin with fingertips.
According to the expert, oatmeal is “moisturizing” and honey is “a natural antibacterial and humectant, so it helps maintain moisture in the skin without being greasy”.
“Gently massage in circular motions all over face and neck, avoiding the delicate eye area, before gently rinsing off with lukewarm water. Pat dry and apply your usual moisturizer.”
