RACING can often be an unpredictable affair, but the likelihood of someone predicting that a SHEEP would invade the race track is very low.

But that’s exactly what happened at Sedgefield Racecourse on Thursday.

Racing was halted on Thursday after a daring sheep invaded the track and escaped several desperate attempts to capture it.

The shepherds tried to carry him back to the paddock he had come from, but after failing to find a way through the sheep turned back to the track and continued their disruptive behavior.

Fans online saw the fun side though.
