Council officers were at the Zenith Sports Bar on the morning of November 15 to repossess the property.
The Hythe Street bar has now been closed.
The police were called following the arrival of the tenants on the premises.
The bar posted on its Facebook page the following day that it had “reached a tipping point in the business and had no choice but to close”.
He thanked his customers and said he had a “great time” serving Dartford.
According to Dartford Borough Council documents, on November 4 the bar applied for the permitted area to be extended to include the rear garden.
He had also requested the construction of a new wall to divide the existing kitchen and form a take-out section.
Sports bar Zénith posted on Facebook: “Dear customers, we have reached a tipping point in the business and we have had no choice but to close.
“Thank you all for your custom. We had a great time serving Dartford.
“All the best, Tharun.”
A spokesperson for Dartford Borough Council said: ‘Council officers were present at Zenith Sports Bar on the morning of Tuesday November 15 to repossess the property.
“Kent Police were called after tenants arrived at the scene.”
