A MAN has been taken to hospital in serious condition following an incident in Hadleigh.
The East of England Ambulance Service has confirmed a patient is in serious condition following reports of a man in cardiac arrest.
It followed reports from Essex Police of concerns for a man’s safety.
The air ambulance was also present, but the man was taken to Southend Hospital by road.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: ‘An ambulance, paramedic vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Westwood Woods, Benfleet this morning following a reports of a man in cardiac arrest.
“A patient in serious condition was transported to Southend University Hospital by road ambulance.
An Essex Police spokesman added: ‘We were called to Rayleigh Road in Hadleigh shortly after 9am this morning, September 1, to a concern for the safety of a man.
“We are staying on site in support of the SAMU and a police cordon is in place.
“The man was taken to hospital.”
