Dying dog tries McDonald’s cheeseburger for first time

A woman has shared a heartbreaking video of her dog’s last day – including eating a McDonald’s cheeseburger and having one last roll in the grass.

Emmie Nielsen, 23, from Putney, has always treasured her time with 12-year-old staff crusader Molly.

But two months ago she was told by a vet that Molly was full of cancerous growths and needed to be put down.

Emmie then planned the most special last day on earth for her with favorite treats, furry friends and time in the sun.

A dog’s life: Molly was given a real treat on her last day – gobbling up a McDonald’s cheeseburger in the trunk of her car

Speaking to The Mirror, Emmie said: ‘We first went to McDonald’s for its first and last cheeseburger and McFlurry.

“Then we drove her to Pets at Home to catch the attention of strangers and choose her latest treat. She loved it.

Emmie said the last day – which she posted on TikTok – was very special.

She said she took her beloved dog for a short walk to her favorite spot.
