Julianne Moore is a multi-talented woman. Not only has she starred in numerous blockbusters and independent films over her nearly 30-year career, and is this year’s jury president of the 79th Venice Film Festival, but she also has a knack for killing it on the Red carpet. .

Moore, 61, stunned on the red carpet for Thursday’s premiere of Tara psychological drama starring Cate Blanchett in the lead role, world-renowned composer and bandleader Lydia Tár.

The jury chair’s long black velvet dress by Armani Privé, the haute couture arm of Giorgio Armani, featured a plunging V-shaped neckline that left room for her sparkling Cartier jewelry.

The column dress proved that an all-black outfit was anything but boring, as the plunging V-neck featured architectural structure at the bodice.

A plunging V-neckline and skin-baring sleeveless top were offset with soft velvet fabric, leaving an overall look that looked its best.

The mother-of-two wore her natural auburn hair in a straight style, tucked behind her ears, and kept her makeup simple with a subtle smoky brown eye and nude pink lip, which allowed her gorgeous skin to shine.

The Always Alice The actor kicked off the festival in a polka-dot Alaïa dress for a cocktail party, before donning a shimmering sequined cape dress by Valentino for the opening ceremony of the international film festival.

Moore revealed some of her insider secrets to staying so young earlier this year in an interview with The Sunday Times Style.

The Oscar-winning actress admitted that it was her mother who anticipated some of the best ways to slow down the aging process, including avoiding sun exposure.

“My mother had a lot to do with it because she wouldn’t let us go out in the sun,” she explained. “She couldn’t be in the sun and I look like her. I wear sunscreen on my face every day and a hat too.

While the actress told the magazine she has regular facials, including microneedling and radiofrequency beauty treatments, she also described the sometimes ageist industry as “stupid” when it’s a “privilege to continue to age”.
